So after months of busy preparation, on October 8, 2023, Jellyfish Vietnam successfully organized the program “Vietnam – Japan Cultural Exchange Festival – Japan Heat 2023” at Vinhomes Imperia Park, Thuong Ly ward, Hong Bang district, Hai Phong city.
Inspired by the image of “Land of the Rising Sun”, 𝐉𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐍 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 returns with the theme: TOWARDS THE SUN. The goal of this year’s event is not simply a cultural exchange program between the two countries Vietnam – Japan, but also to bring many opportunities to study and work in the “Land of the Rising Sun” through booths and discussion on education and employment in Japan, helping to realize the dream of “reaching Japan” of Vietnamese young people.
The students experienced two parts: the “ceremony” part and the “assembly” part. During the “ceremony” part, on the stage, many unique Vietnamese-Japanese artistic performances took place such as Yosakoi dance, Japanese cherry blossom dance, Vietnamese folk dance, catwalk performance, and discussion “Study abroad and work in Japan – Why not?” with sharing about the experience of studying and working in Japan from guests of Jellyfish Vietnam,… Hopefully through this section,students can understand more about Japanese culture and country as well as what life is like here.
As for the festival, event participants enjoyed carefully prepared performances from the young people who registered to show their love for Vietnamese – Japanese culture. As well as the Cosplay catwalk performance with invested costumes, the audience feels like they are immersing themselves in the characters in famous movies and games. Besides, there is a minigame “Answer correctly – Win instant gifts” so they can learn more about Japan on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (1973-2023). The most special thing to mention is the awarding of the Cosplay Contest “Towards the Sun” taking place within the event. Outstanding cosplayers arrived and went on stage to be awarded prizes and certificates of winning the competition.
In addition, Japan Heat 2023 also vividly recreates the Vietnamese – Japanese cultural space, learns deeply about studying abroad and working in Japan through unique experiences at booths such as: Conical hat display area, Japanese traditional costumes Yukata, folk games with Vietnamese – Japanese culture, Jellyfish Vietnam consulting booth, charity booth “Your future – Country pride”..
The festival received great support and attention from students in Hai Phong and other provinces. Their enthusiasm and youth have become the resources for Jellyfish Vietnam to create such a vibrant event.
