NGUYEN HONG HANH – EXCELLENT FACE WON THE FULL SCHOLARSHIP KYOTO IUP 2021

Nguyen Hong Hanh – a student from HUS High School for Gifted Students has excellently won a scholarship of 2 billion from Kyoto University, Japan.

Receiving a full scholarship from a top Japanese university is the dream of many young Vietnamese students. It is not only financial aid, but it also allows students to go out into the world and broaden their horizons.

Nguyen Hong Hanh – Specializing in Physics – HUS High School for Gifted Students – is a typical example. She has just won a scholarship worth 2 billion VND at the prestigious Kyoto University. It must be added that Kyoto University is ranked 1st in Japan, 5th in Asia and 17th in the world according to the QS enrollment chart. In the recent enrollment period, Hanh was the only representative of Vietnam to receive this honor.

Some of Hong Hanh’s achievements:

– GPA: 9.7
– SAT score: 1510/1600, top 1% of highest SAT score in the world
– IELTS 8.0

To increase the chances of being admitted, Hanh did not apply to only one school, but she applied to 4 universities at the same time.

The preparation of a proper profile, as well as good academic achievements, helped Hanh receive admissions from all four of the most prestigious universities in the country of cherry blossoms. Of which, 3 schools are 100% scholarship. At the moment, she is still focusing on studying for the upcoming National High School Graduation Exam 2021.

Hanh’s Kyoto iUP Scholarship 2021 includes:

– Preparatory Course: 342,200 JPY
– Undergraduate Course: 817,800 JPY
– Living fee: 120,000 JPY/month
